LISTEN: Governor Kelly Armstrong’s interview with The Flag’s Steve Hallstrom
BISMARCK, N.D. – North Dakota Governor Kelly Armstrong is set to give a budget address on Wednesday, April 8 and gave a preview on The Flag.
“I want to go two years without any [new] major construction projects and I want to go two years without hiring any new state employees,” Armstrong said.
Armstrong added the state’s budget is in better position than two months ago because of higher oil prices, but that doesn’t mean there will be more general fund spending.
