FARGO, N.D. – A planned search for a missing Fargo woman is being postponed.
Organizers of the search efforts say illness within leaders is forcing the postponement of the next planned search. It was scheduled for this Sunday.
Now, leaders will have an organized search on Sunday, May 3, starting at 12 p.m.
“Of course, if you are local and willing, please step forward to search this Sunday,” organizers said in a social media post. “Please remember you don’t need a “leader” of any sort to do something good and helpful for others. You have the ability as well.”
Wengel has been missing since January, and Joshua Hite has been charged in connection with her death.
He is charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence, and providing false information to law enforcement.
