Wolves roll Nuggets in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead

A hot first half led the Minnesota Timberwolves past the Denver Nuggets 113-96. The Wolves led 61-39 at the half.

The Pack out-rebounded the Nuggets 53-40 while also winning the offensive rebounding battle 12-6. The Wolves shot 48 percent (44-92) from the field while Denver shot 34 percent (28-82) from the floor.

Ayo Dosunmu led Minnesota with 25 points and nine assists. Jaden McDaniels added 20 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Edwards chipped in 17 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Donte DiVincenzo tallied 15 points, seven assists, four rebounds, and four steals while Julius Randle dropped 15 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Rudy Gobert has a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds with three blocks.

Minnesota now leads the best-of-seven Western Conference Quarterfinals series 2-1. Game 4 is on Saturday in Minneapolis with the tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and full game coverage available on ABC.
