Help needed to find vehicle that crashed between Leonard & Kindred

CASS COUNTY, N.D. – The North Dakota Highway Patrol is searching for a vehicle involved in a crash between Leonard and Kindred.

It happened on Sunday, April 26 around 10:30 PM at Highway 46 and 157th Avenue Southeast.

Authorities say a white Ford Escape was going south on 157th Ave SE, didn’t stop for the stop sign, crossed Highway 46, went into a field and crashed through a barbed wire fence. The Highway Patrol said the driver got back into the vehicle, drove through the field and went south on 155th Avenue Southeast.

Law enforcement responded, but couldn’t find the vehicle.
Authorities say they found paper dealer plates and say the Ford Escape may have front end damage with barbed wire hanging from it.
