GRAND FORKS, N.D. – An airman with the U.S. Air Force stationed at the Grand Forks Air Force Base is facing charges after an investigation involving undercover officers posing as a 14-year-old female.
Christopher Nunez faces felony charges of luring by computer or electronic means and solicitation of a minor.
According to court documents, authorities had detained Nunez as they conducted an undercover operation. He had described sexual acts with the person and requested photos of the female’s breasts. Nunez traveled to the person ‘for the purpose of engaging in sexual acts’ with the person.
He made his initial appearance Monday and remains in jail.
