RedHawks pitching crushed in series finale against Railroaders

A pair of disastrous innings cost the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in their 14-12 series finale loss to the Cleburne Railroaders on Wednesday night. Fargo-Moorhead gave up six runs in the fourth inning and five runs in the seventh inning.

Patrick Wicklander struggled, giving up nine runs over 3 1/3 innings in a no-decision. Tyer Jeans was tagged with the loss after giving up two runs over 2 2/3 innings out of the bullpen. Angelo Cabral gave up three runs (one earned) over one inning of work. Liu Fuenmayor tossed a scoreless inning.

Tripp Clark paced the RedHawk offense with two home runs and six RBI, his first two homers of the 2026 season. Jose Sermo hit a two-run homer, his sixth of the young season. Juan Fernandez added two RBI while Andy Nelson and Aidan Byrne added an RBI apiece.

The RedHawks now have an off day on Thursday to travel home. Fargo-Moorhead will welcome the Kane Country Cougars to Newman Outdoor Field for the 2026 home opener on Friday night with the first pitch scheduled for 7:02 p.m.
