The Minnesota Twins dropped a Memorial Day pitchers duel to the Chicago White Sox 3-1 on Monday afternoon.
Brooks Lee hit a solo home run in the first inning, his sixth of the season. The Twins racked up seven hits while leaving eight runners stranded on base… Minnesota was only 1-7 with runners in scoring position.

Zebby Matthews surrendered three runs over six innings, eventually being tagged with the loss. Simeon Woods Richardson tossed a pair of scoreless innings out of the bullpen.
Minnesota fell to a record of 26-28 on the season.
