FARGO, ND — A Fargo man was hospitalized following a vehicle crash and overturning on North University late Sunday night.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened in the area of the 1400 block of North University just before 11:45 p.m. on Sunday. Authorities say 18-year-old Aden Hanretty was traveling southbound on the road when his vehicle partially left the roadway and struck a tree, coming to a rest upside down in the roadway. Hanretty was transferred to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Several agencies responded to the scene, including North Dakota Highway Patrol, Fargo Police Department, Cass County Sheriff’s Department, Fargo Fire Department, and Sanford Ambulance. The crash remains under investigation. Charges are possible against Hanretty.
