(Minneapolis, MN) — A Twins former first-round draft pick is hanging up his cleats.
26-year-old Alex Kirilloff announced yesterday that he is retiring from the MLB. The Twins slugger was a first-round pick during the 2016 MLB Draft, but injuries have plagued him for each of the last four big league seasons.
