(Washington, DC) -- Only 310-thousand American workers filed first-time claims for unemployment benefits last week.
That's 35-thousand fewer than the previous week's revised total and the lowest in nearly a year and-a-half.
Most analysts were expecting to see Thursday's numbers come in at around 336-thousand.
