Starting Wednesday, Sept. 4, motorists traveling on Highways 7, 59 and 119 in Appleton will encounter a temporary closure and detour while railroad crews install crossing arms and perform maintenance. Traffic will be detoured to Highway 59, Hering Street and Thielke Avenue.
Local traffic will have access to N Munsterman Street, but the road will be impassable at the railroad crossing near W Wilkening Avenue. The work is expected to take approximately two days to complete.
