Fargo Library Hosting Exhibit of WWI Posters

As part of the 2018 One Book, One Community reading project,  the Fargo Public Library is hosting an exhibit of WWI posters in the entryway gallery at the downtown Main Library through August 31.

The exhibit is on loan from the North Dakota State Historical Society and contains a sampling of Canadian, British, French and American posters created to gain support for the war. The posters were collected starting in 1916 by Melvin Gilmore, curator for the State Museum, and today the collection contains 966 posters. The exhibit is open to all ages.
