The inclement weather hitting the region is causing power outages in the metro.
According to Xcel Energy, more than 200 Xcel Energy customers are without power this morning.
Data from Xcel Energy’s electric outage map show 234 customers experiencing an outage in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
Valley News Live reports that Xcel is reporting damage from high winds as the cause for the outage.
As of 10:30 a.m., Hector International Airport in Fargo is reporting winds out of the north at 26 miles per hour, gusting to 40 miles per hour. Gusty winds are expected to last through Monday night.
