City of Moorhead lifts snow emergency declaration

The City of Moorhead’s snow emergency declaration has been lifted but crews continue to clear streets. It took approximately 14 hours yesterday for crews to plow the entire city. Winds remained strong throughout the day and night, gusting to 40 mph and drifting was a challenge for the plows. Crews began plowing all primary and secondary routes at 7 a.m. this morning and will check all zones to ensure roads are accessible. Residents are strongly encouraged to keep their cars off the streets while crews work to clear streets.
