City Offices closed for Memorial Day

Most city, county and state offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2020 in observance of Memorial Day.  Regular city business will not be conducted that day.  However, emergency police and fire services will continue to operate as scheduled. 

City services such as refuse collection will not take place on Monday.  Residents with regularly scheduled Monday pickup will have their trash collected on Tuesday, May 26, or Wednesday, May 27, along with regularly scheduled routes. 

Recycling pickup scheduled for next week will be pushed back one day later than normally scheduled throughout the week, because of the holiday.  For example, Monday’s recycling pickup will take place on Tuesday – Tuesday’s pickup will take place on Wednesday, etc.  The week will end with Friday’s recycling picked up on Saturday.  Please refer to your city calendar or log on to www.grandforksgov.com for more details.

City Bus, Senior Rider Bus and Dial-A-Ride will not run on Memorial Day but will resume regular routes on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

City offices will reopen for regular business on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
