Dickinson, Williston Airports Receive Funding

 

Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Committee, announced Friday that the U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded more than $20 million for airport construction in Williston and Dickinson.

Williston will receive more than $10.7 million. The funds will be used to construct the new airport in Williston. The federal government has now awarded $99.8 million of its $112 million share of the project’s total $231 million cost.

Dickinson’s Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport will receive more than $9.8 million. Those funds will be used to extend runway 14/32.
