Fair McEvers Receives High Ratings From State Bar

Lisa Fair McEvers, incumbent candidate for the North Dakota Supreme Court, received the highest ratings in a member survey released by the North Dakota State Bar Association (SBAND).  The survey, conducted from August 23 through August 30, 2018, rated the two candidates, McEvers and Robert V. Bolinske, Sr., who will appear on the November general election ballot.

In the survey, 386 members of SBAND had the opportunity to rate both candidates in five categories:  knowledge of law and procedure, timeliness and diligence, legal experience, judicial temperament, and integrity.  Each candidate received a weighted average on a five-point scale.  In every category, McEvers was rated higher than her opponent, exceeding 4.5 in every category, and receiving her highest score in integrity with a 4.7.
