Kavanaugh Advances From Judiciary Hearing

The Senate Judiciary Committee has voted to send the Brett Kavanaugh nomination to the floor, 11-10.

Sen. Jeff Flake, a Republican from Arizona, said he would vote to move Judge Brett Kavanaugh out of the Judiciary Committee and to the floor of the Senate as long as the main vote would be delayed by up to one week, at the most, to allow for an FBI investigation.

This comes one day after Christine Blasey Ford testified that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her, something which Kavanaugh vehemently denied.

No word on a timeline for the FBI investigation.
