Fargo Public Schools' school name submission period begins

 

Fargo Public Schools (FPS) is committed to maintaining high standards of integrity and to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members of the Fargo community. Therefore, Fargo Public Schools is inviting name submissions for the new name of Woodrow Wilson High School, per Administrative Policy 3260. Name suggestions can be submitted via the Naming Process Form on the FPS website. The submission period is open now through Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

Submissions will be reviewed by the Board of Education and will be voted on at a later date. FPS will transition the school to its new name by the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year.

Woodrow Wilson High School provides a student-centered alternative instructional program to allow students to obtain a valid high school diploma and to learn skills necessary to be productive, responsible citizens. An average of 150 students are enrolled every school year.
