On Wednesday, October 17, the Fargo South High football team is hosting a celebration of the 40th anniversary of South High School’s first football championship win in 1978. The members of the championship team will be honored at halftime of the game when the Bruins take on the West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs. The game is also senior night.
The day of the event, the state championship players, coaches, and their family members will gather for tailgating on the north side of Brant–Quamme Field from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. before heading to the game at 7:00 p.m. The group will be recognized during the halftime portion of the game.
