Great Northern Drive Open to Traffic in North Fargo

Work will soon be complete for the City of Fargo’s Great Northern Drive project. Crews have reopened all driving lanes on Great Northern Drive from east of 18th Street North to 25th Street North and street parking from 21st Street N to 18th Street N. With all traffic control and temporary access roads removed, access to area businesses is off the mainline. 

Work will continue throughout the project limits as crew finish sidewalk, driveway connection and other final completion items throughout the week and into next week, weather permitting. 

Great Northern Drive project work included full roadway reconstruction, water main relocation, sanitary and storm sewer relocation, new street lighting and sidewalks.
