Madison Elementary to Participate in Career Day

It’s Career Day at Madison Elementary School. On Thursday, October 25, the 48 second and fourth grade students are encouraged to dress up in their favorite career outfit, such as firefighter, teacher, military, cook, construction worker, doctor, musician, pilot, or farmer. Regular school day morning classes and subjects will be replaced with Junior Achievement (JA) lessons that relate to work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.

Age-appropriate JA lessons will be taught to Madison students as part of the Career Day activities on October 25 by the following teachers:

  • JA lesson for grade 2 in Erika Steenerson’s classroom will be from 9:30 to 10:10 a.m.
  • JA lesson for grade 4 in Zach Leer’s classroom will be from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m.

Five lessons will take place from October 25 through November 15.
