City of West Fargo and Metro COG Seek Public Input on 13th Avenue Corridor Study

A public information meeting is scheduled for December 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Training Room at the West Fargo City Hall. An online open house will be available from December 7 to 21 to allow community members who are unable to attend the in-person open house to participate in the process. The online open house will be available at the following website: http://13thavewfstudy.com/

The City of West Fargo and the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments (Metro COG) have partnered to study 13th Avenue between 17th Street SE and 15th Street NW, as well as 15th Street NW between 13th Avenue and Main Avenue. The study is driven by the growth potential in this area, along with other needs along the corridor.  In addition, this study analyzes the feasibility of an overpass over I-94 at the west end of 13th Avenue.

Area residents shared their ideas for improving transportation and mobility within this corridor via surveys and at community events last fall. This collaborative vision has been turned into a draft long-range transportation plan that is now ready for the community to see and comment on.
