Fargo Police Arrest Car Prowlers

Early Thursday morning, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Fargo Police officers were dispatched to suspected car prowlers in the 3200 block of 16th Avenue South. The caller described the suspects and the vehicle they were leaving in. Officers were able to quickly stop the vehicle and the individuals inside, who denied being involved, but matched the description of the witness, were detained and later admitted to forcefully and unlawfully entering multiple vehicles and stealing items.  

Multiple stolen items were found in their vehicle connected to victims in Fargo and Moorhead. Photographs were taken of these items. Please report any unlawful entry and theft from motor vehicles to dispatch at 451-7660.

Chancelor Jacob Lewis, 20 years old of Fergus Falls, Minn., and Hannah Marie Dahl, 18 years old of Dilworth, Minn., were arrested for conspiracy to commit unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and transported to the Cass County Jail. 

One juvenile male was also arrested for the same charge and released to his father.
