No Travel Advisories Continue Friday Morning For Eastern ND, Western MN

Areas in North Dakota and Minnesota are both being impacted by Mother Nature, who continued her fury late Thursday evening.

Earlier Thursday, the North Dakota Department of Transportation and North Dakota Highway Patrol issued a no travel advisory for eastern North Dakota, due to icy roads and reduced visibility.

Late Thursday evening, the Minnesota Department of Transportation issued its own no travel advisory, spanning from Moorhead to Alexandria on I-94, including the counties of Wilkin, Traverse and Big Stone.

According to Emma Olson, Public Affairs Coordinator for Districts 2 and 4 of the Minnesota D-O-T, high winds and blowing snow are causing whiteout conditions.

In North Dakota, a Travel Alert remains in effect for portions of North Dakota, including Bismarck and Devils Lake.
