Suspicious Letter Sent to US Federal Courthouse in Fergus Falls

At 9:19 a.m. on Thursday, the U.S. Marshal's Service contacted the Fergus Falls Police Department regarding a suspicious letter that was sent to the U.S. Federal Courthouse in Fergus Falls, Minn.

Given the nature of the threat and potential contents, standard precautions were used to ensure the safety of the responders and occupants of the building.

There is no believed threat at this time and the matter has been referred to federal authorities.
