MNDOT Issues No Travel Advisory

 

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has enacted a no travel advisory on state and federal highways in portions of west central Minnesota due to dangerous driving conditions. The no travel advisory applies to the following highways in Otter Tail, Grant and Douglas counties:

•             Interstate 94 – Highway 108 to Osakis

•             Highway 27 – Highway 55 near Hoffman to I-94

•             Highway 29 – Wadena to Glenwood

•             Highway 54 – Elbow Lake to Highway 27

•             Highway 55 – Highway 59 to Highway 9

•             Highway 59 – Dunvilla to I-94 and I-94 to Elbow Lake

•             Highway 78 – Ottertail to I-94

•             Highway 79 – Elbow Lake to I-94

•             Highway 106 – Highway 10 to Deer Creek

•             Highway 108 – Ottertail to Henning

•             Highway 114 – I-94 to Highway 55 near Lowry

•             Highway 210 – I-94 to Hewitt

Freezing rain is causing slippery conditions throughout the region. Several vehicles have spun out due to ice on the roadways. Snowplows continue to operate, but motorists are advised not to travel until conditions improve.
