University of North Dakota President Mark Kennedy has received a contract extension from the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education. The vote was unanimous. The board did ask North Dakota University System Chancellor Mark Hagerott to develop a “midyear evaluation” of President Kennedy. Kennedy’s contract will run through June 20, 2020. Other NDUS presidents received contract extensions until 2020, except for Wahpeton’s North Dakota State College of Science John Richman. His contract was tabled until September.
