Multiple Fargo-Moorhead media outlets are reporting a water rescue is underway in West Fargo. Emergency crews in West Fargo were called at 3:55 p.m. to an address on Fifth Street West in West Fargo. According to media reports, the caller indicated that a boy appeared to be in trouble and may have been drowning. The 9-1-1 caller said the child was in a retention pond behind the home. Crews have initiated a water rescue shortly after getting on scene, when they could not see the child in the water. AM 1100 The Flag WZFG will update this story as more information becomes available.
