Library to Host an Earth Day Event for Kids and Families

The Fargo Public Library will celebrate Earth Day on Monday, April 22, with an event at 6 p.m. at the downtown Main Library for children and families designed to help the community keep the Earth beautiful.

Those attending will learn the basics of proper tree planting from City Forester Scott Liudahl, along with the best ways to reduce, reuse and recycle. A tree giveaway sponsored by the North Dakota Forestry Service will also be part of the event. All materials and instructions will be provided and no registration is required. This free event is most appropriate for families with children ages 4 and older. Call the Children’s Department at 701.241.1495 for details.
