West Fargo High School to Host Relay for Life

West Fargo High School students and staff are set to host a Relay for Life, an event through the American Cancer Society that raises money for cancer research, on Friday, April 26.

While most Relays for Life are associated with just a lengthy period of walking, West Fargo High School is planning a full evening of activities. A dinner for cancer survivors and a survivor’s ceremony will honor those who have battled or are currently battling cancer. There will also be concessions, games, inflatables, dances, music, food, vendors, a movie, raffle drawings, and other activities making this a community and family-friendly event.

Members of the community are invited to join students and staff by creating a team to participate in the walk. The walking relay is scheduled for 5:00PM – 11:00PM at the West Fargo High School track; in the event of inclement weather, the walk will be moved indoors.

This great event is designed to help raise money for cancer research, awareness, to support everyone who has been touched by cancer, and honor those who we have lost to a battle with cancer.
