An unusual theft in the City of Moorhead this morning. It was one that was easily solved by Moorhead Police officers. According to reports, a homeowner claimed a neighbor was stealing electricity by plugging an extension cord into an exterior outlet. Police followed the cord, which led them to a next door neighbor, who indicated to police that her power had been shut off. The admission by the neighbor led to police ticketing her for theft.
