Baby Missing in Stutsman County

A woman and a pickup have been found, but the woman’s infant child still remains missing.

The scene is in Woodworth, ND, which is 42 miles northwest of Jamestown. According to multiple reports, a woman and her child were reported missing to authorities earlier this week.

On Friday morning, the missing woman was found by a farmer walking in Woodworth. He transported her to Carrington, where he called police. At that time, the whereabouts of both the child and vehicle were unknown. The North Dakota Highway Patrol brought in an airplane, and the vehicle was located approximately four miles from where the farmer located the woman.

According to reports, searches of the area have turned up clothing, but no signs of the infant. The search continues.
