The suspect wanted in a chase that originated Monday in East Grand Forks, then moved into Grand Forks and later, Traill County, has been arrested.
Traill County Sheriff Steve Hunt tells WZFG News that the suspect, Thomas Hibpshman, Jr., was arrested Wednesday in Portland, N.D. He was arrested at around 4:30 p.m. at a business in Portland without incident.
The chase began at approximately 3:30 p.m. in East Grand Forks after Hibpshman fled from an attempted traffic stop, before crashing into a vehicle in Grand Forks a short time later.
