The search for the missing Red Panda from the Red River Zoo is over.
The Red River Zoo posted on its Facebook page, at 11:30 p.m. Thursday evening, that Sheffield, the Red Panda, “is now safe and sound in his home at the Zoo.”
Earlier in the day Thursday, the Red River Zoo said that, at 8:15 a.m., during a routine inspection, it was discovered that the male Red Panda, Sheffield, was not in his holding facility.
WZFG News has reached out to Sally Jacobson, executive director for the zoo, to find out where Sheffield was found.
