The Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in Larimore Tuesday morning for a stabbing.
When the authorities arrived at the 700 block of Washington Avenue in Larimore, they found a male subject, who had been stabbed several times by another male. The stabbing victim was transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, and his condition is currently unavailable.
As a result of the investigation, 49-year-old Jesse Alameda, of Grand Forks, was arrested and charged with attempted murder. Alameda was jailed at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center.
As of 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, formal charges had not been filed in Grand Forks County District Court.
