The Fargo Police Department says a West Fargo man is facing child neglect charges following an incident Thursday afternoon at West Acres Mall in Fargo.
At shortly after 1 p.m., Fargo Police officers responded to the mall for a report of a child who was red and sweaty inside a vehicle.
When officers arrived on scene, the child had been safely removed from the vehicle. The 13-month-old was left in an unlocked vehicle, with the windows down, and was rescued by what police describe as a “good Samaritan”.
The child’s father, Robert Anthony Henson, age 22 of West Fargo, was arrested for child neglect.
