North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum has announced that Fargo-based Border States Electric CEO Tammy Miller will join his administration as the Chief Operating Officer.
Miller has served as CEO and board chair of Border States Electric since 2006.
As chief operating officer, Miller will succeed current Chief Operating Officer Jodi Uecker, who is retiring in June.
Because of her existing commitment to Border States Electric, Miller will join the Governor’s Office as a state employee on April 1, 2020. She will begin a transitionary period on October 1. In the transitionary period, Uecker will assist on a part-time basis.
