Carrington Woman Charged with Death of 4-month-old Baby

 

Justice Lange, the Carrington woman who had been missing for four days and could not remember the last known whereabouts of her son, has now been charged in Stutsman County. According to court records, Lange will appear in court today (Thursday) on two felony counts—one Class C felony of Child Neglect; and one Class B felony of Manslaughter. The charges were filed by the Stutsman County States Attorney Wednesday, according to records. Last Friday, Lange was found wandering on a road east of Woodworth by a farmer. She was taken to a hospital in Fargo, while authorities launched a search for the baby. His body was found on Saturday afternoon after a two-day search in a slough. It’s unclear at this point how long the baby was there. She is now in jail in Stutsman County on a parole violation, according to Valley News Live.
