The Moorhead Police Department says a pedestrian was hit by a train Thursday afternoon.
At approximately 4:45 p.m., Moorhead Police, along with the Moorhead Fire Department and F-M Ambulance, responded to the railroad crossing, located near 1st Avenue and 11th Street North. It was reported that a pedestrian was hit by a train.
The male victim was transported to Sanford Hospital with unknown injuries.
The Moorhead Police Department is continuing their investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Red River Dispatch Center at 701-451-7660.
