Airport Authority plans to build a hotel at Fargo’s Hector International Airport

FARGO, N.D. – On “The Chamber Link” on WDAY Radio, Municipal Airport Authority Chair Rick Berg said the board is looking into building a hotel connected to Fargo’s Hector International Airport.

“If people can come to Fargo the night before, stay in a connected hotel and walk in their flip-flops to get on the plane, I think that will attract more people from our region to fly out of Fargo,” Berg explained.

Berg said the Airport Authority is trying to give people incentives to fly out of Fargo instead of driving to Minneapolis-Saint Paul and an option to stay here so they don’t have to drive in poor weather.
