BISMARCK, ND — A 24-year-old man is in custody amid accusations he performed inappropriate sexual acts on a 10-year-old girl.
Isiah Simms was indicted yesterday on four counts of gross sexual imposition. Investigators say Simms and the minor had arranged to meet near the State Capitol grounds. Officers reportedly were called to the scene after the girl had second thoughts at the scene and told her family she was in trouble.
As of Friday night, Simms remained in custody at the Burleigh Morton Detention Center. Bond was set at $250,000. Officials say he will go before a judge next month.
