FARGO, N.D. – Fargo Theatre will celebrate its centennial on March 14 and 15 and there are several ways to have some fun.
There will be champagne and food at a Roaring ’20s Soirée at Synclaire Events Center in Fargo on Saturday, March 14 where you can wear clothing from a century ago. There will also be a silent auction.
“We were gifted some items from the late Tom Brando’s estate. He had a collection of historic movie lobby cards from some films that you might recognize like “Star Wars,” Fargo Theatre Executive Director Emily Beck said on “Rocky’s Downtown Hour” on WDAY Radio.
The theatre’s birthday event is held on Sunday, March 15th where a short film from the 1920s will be played, there will be a performance from the FMBallet and a premiere of a documentary about this history of Fargo Theatre.
