MOORHEAD, Minn. (Valley News Live) – The Coca-Cola distribution plant in Moorhead appears poised to move after several years in the community, with a new facility planned across the Red River in West Fargo.
West Fargo officials say Coca-Cola has applied for a building permit at 2765 3rd Ave. NE in the Sandhills Development. The permit application is an early but significant step toward shifting distribution operations from Moorhead to West Fargo.
The Moorhead Coca-Cola distribution plant is a regional facility owned by Coca-Cola High Country, a family-owned bottler based in South Dakota.
Further details about the project — including a construction timeline, potential job impacts and plans for the existing Moorhead site — were not immediately available.
