Crews conduct search of Sheyenne River

WEST FARGO, N.D. – Crews searched for approximately two hours in West Fargo late last night after reports were received of an individual standing on the bridge over the Sheyenne River.

The call came in to the 2400 of Sheyenne Street.

Officers arrived on scene and did not observe any signs of a person on the bridge or in the water.

The West Fargo Fire Department brought rescue boats, and a drone and K-9 were used to search as a precaution.

After two hours, nobody was found, and the search was called off.

No missing persons reports have been filed, and the case remains under investigation.
