Diocese of Fargo breaks ground on St. Carlo Acutis Middle School in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The All Saints School Network has broken ground on the St. Carlo Acutis Middle School in Grand Forks.

The $13 million project is named after St. Carlo Acutis who the Diocese of Fargo calls a modern saint who exemplified how young people can live their faith authentically in today’s world with Jesus Christ as their guide.

The school will have a prayer room and six classroom including a dedicated STEAM classroom to give students hands-on opportunities in science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Construction is expected to be completed by November 2027.

The 2025-2026 school year was the first for the newly established middle school with sixth grade classes at St. Michael’s Elementary.

Seventh grade will be added for the upcoming school year with eighth grade added in the 2027-2028 school year.
