East Grand Forks declares snow emergency

EAST GRAND FORKS, MINN. – Officials in East Grand Forks are declaring a snow emergency.

The snow emergency will go into effect at midnight tonight.

“During a snow emergency there is no parking on any city street until that street is plowed to its full width,” a post on the East Grand Forks Police Department’s Facebook page said.

As of 12 p.m. Sunday, nearly two inches of snow had fallen at the National Weather Service office in Grand Forks.
