FARGO, N.D. – A Fargo daycare abruptly closed this week.
The Culturally Growing Child Enrichment Center, located in the 3200 block of 39th Street South, closed ‘solely out of concern for the safety, care, and proper staffing of the children in our center.’
In a Facebook post, the center said the resignation of its director and others caused concerns about multiple staff leaving at once.
“Rather than risk being out of ratio or unable to provide the level of care and supervision that every child deserves, I made the difficult decision to temporarily close operations until everything could be properly handled,” the center said.
The post also addressed ‘situations involving unprofessional behavior, false statements, private group conversations and other concerns.’ Management has also discovered misuse of company resources for personal use.
There’s no word on when the center may reopen.
