FARGO, N.D. — After more than an hour of testimony, including the potential impact on small businesses, the Fargo City Commission is delaying action on a comprehensive tobacco and nicotine ordinance.
Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney said he feels not everyone had been consulted about the ordinance and its potentials.
“I think it would be nice to have a meeting, with the ability to get the industry together,” he said.
The commission voted to table the discussion until after the election to allow for more dialogue between public health officials and the retail industry.
