Fargo Native American Commission to discuss transition plans

FARGO, N.D. – Fargo’s Native American Commission is set to discuss its plans for transitioning from out of city government at a meeting next week.

The City of Fargo says the group will meet on Thursday at noon in Fargo City Commission chambers. The discussion will surround transitioning to a broader, community-based governance model, as voted on by the City Commission on March 2 of this year.

The N-A-C is one of multiple boards and commissions the City has been discussing future plans for this year.

The Human Rights Commission is also discerning its future.
